I am a PhD Student in Political Science at American University in Washington, DC. My research focuses on American politics, LGBTQ+ public opinion, prejudice reduction and attitude change, political psychology, and political behavior. Specifically, my current research agenda examines the factors that shape LGBTQ+ public opinion and the circumstances that facilitate changes in attitudes toward transgender people. Another strand of my research explores the extent to which LGBTQ+ individuals support their group’s interests. I can reached via [email protected].
I received my M.A in Political Science from University of California, Riverside in 2022, and B.A in Political Science from Oregon State University in 2020.
I am also a Music Composer and Classical Guitarist. I frequently find myself inspired by classical repertoire, film music, and game music. To me, music is a way to express my fears and happinesses, ups and downs in my living experience as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. I rely on MIDI-keyboard, virtual instruments (e.g. EastWest, Native Instrument, etc), and my guitar to compose music. Some of my works can be Found Here.
Several of my guitar compositions have been performed in American Guitar Society, Riverside City College Guitar Ensembles. I can be reached via [email protected].
