I am a PhD student in Political Science at American University in Washington, DC. My research focuses on LGBTQ+ politics, public opinion, prejudice reduction and attitude change, political psychology. My current works examine the factors that shape public opinion about transgender people and the circumstances that facilitate attitude change and prejudice reduction. I also explore how LGBTQ+ individuals support their group interests. I can reached via [email protected].
I received my M.A in Political Science from University of California, Riverside in 2022, and B.A in Political Science from Oregon State University in 2020.
I am also a Music Composer and Classical Guitarist. I frequently draw inspiration from the classical repertoire, dance music, film soundtracks, as well as personal experience. I primarily compose guitar solos, small chamber music, and larger orchestral pieces. My music is often characterized by cinematic and expressive textures, and I write using both my MIDI keyboard and my guitar. Music has always been my way to express joys and sorrows. everal of my guitar compositions have been performed in concert programs at the American Guitar Society, Riverside City College, and the University of Redlands. Some of my works can be found here.
A fun fact: The site logo was designed by my partner, Carolyn, who is the muse behind my second guitar concerto.
