When exploring different configurations of composition, ranging from solo to orchestral music, she always reminds herself of those names—John Williams, James Horner, Felix Mendelssohn, Antonion Devorak, Astor Piazzolla, and Francisco Tarrega, and so on.

Perhaps Lilyana is most known for her works on various minor scales, as she finds minor scales serve better to express her emotions and capture her intentions.
